Andrew Walton

Biography

Andrew serves as the Director of Safety for the Liberty University School of Aeronautics and for Freedom Aviation. His responsibilities include safety program oversight, risk management, safety assurance, and aviation incident management. Andrew holds CFI/CFII/MEI, ATP, and A&P certificates.

He is an adjunct professor for the School of Aeronautics. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Arts degree, and earned the USC Aviation Safety and Security Certificate. USC nominated Andrew for the UAA John K. Lauber Safety Award, which he was awarded in 2022.
