A new on-demand ridesharing service from the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Metro Micro, offers point-to-point transportation within the area surrounding the USC Aviation Safety and Security Program offices and classrooms. This area, shown in the map below, includes numerous hotels, shopping, restaurants, bike trails, Dockweiler Beach, Hawthorne Municipal Airport, and SoFi Stadium. Metro Micro also connects to the LAX/Metro Transit Center and several other Metro Rail stations.

Metro Micro operates in the LAX/Inglewood service area from 5 AM to 9 PM every day; ideal for rides to and from class, to lunch at local restaurants, errands, and personal trips after class and on weekends.

Metro Micro does not provide direct service to or from the LAX terminal loop.  LAX offers free shuttles to and from the LAX/Metro Transit Center, which is served by Metro Micro.

Metro Micro fares are $2.50 per passenger, and one person may book a ride for up to five passengers. You may book a ride via an app, website, phone, contactless bank card, or TAP card. Please watch the video below for more information.
