Nicholas Peterson
Biography
Captain Nicholas Peterson is a line pilot for a major US airline. A graduate of Purdue University in 1997 with a B.S. in Aviation Technology, Nick began his airline career at a regional airline flying turboprops before joining his current company in 2001.
During his thirty-year airline career Nick has flown numerous aircraft for several international airlines and has been working in safety and leadership roles since 2015. In addition to developing and leading a pioneering safety program, Nick has travelled worldwide, presenting and taking part in panel discussions about the importance of evolving the study of safety from learning solely from failures to also learning from success and what goes well.
